CORP
The Cavanal Outdoor Recreation Project (operating as a DBA of the Lake Wister Association) is the governing association for the maintenance and upkeep of Old Frisco Trail.
CORP is made up of community leaders from the Wister and Poteau areas that have been elected to oversee the use of the trail and other outdoor recreational projects.
CORP is a non-profit organization. The organization has not been formed for the making of any profit, or personal financial gain. The assets and income of the organization shall not be distributable to or benefit the members or officers or other individuals.

Old Frisco Trail is the perfect place for your race!
Old Frisco Trail hosts all kinds of races! We partner with the Poteau Chamber of Commerce for annual runs such as the 5k Glow Run and Half Marathon/15k held in mid-September and would love to partner with you for your next event!
We can accommodate short races, like a 5k, or races as long as a half marathon. Let us know what you have in mind by filling out our Event Hosting Application.
